Third suspect identified in Asheboro home invasion

ASHEBORO, N.C. — A third suspect has been identified in connection with an Asheboro home invasion on Burmil Road in October.

Sheron Letterlough is facing charges of first degree burglary and two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to police.

Letterlough is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Police responded to 1713 Burmil Road on Oct. 16, where two victims said three men armed with pistols forced their way into the home.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken, along with medication and a key to a vehicle. One of the victims was injured in the invasion, but was treated and released.

Two of the suspects, Donald Lee Tincher III and Travis Monroe Turner were arrested shortly after the invasion.
