Three men charged with robbing 70-year-old Greensboro woman
GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police have arrested three men in connection with the alleged robbery of a 70-year-old woman on Wednesday.
Officers responded to a home on Penn Place around 11:40 a.m. in reference to a robbery. The victim told police a man entered her home through an unlocked front door.
The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. He then took cash and personal items from the victim before leaving the home.
The victim was not injured during the robbery.
A short time later, officers located a vehicle fitting the description of the suspect’s vehicle. A vehicle stop was conducted and three suspects were taken into custody.
Tracy Walker, 42, Robert Rodgers, 46, and Russell Scott, 41, were each charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, possession of cocaine and other related charges.
Walker was also charged with driving with a revoked license.
Police said Scott was charged with assault on a child under 6-years-old. Police did not provide any additional information about the assault.
