Police investigate second Winston-Salem bank robbery in two days

Bank1WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Another Winston-Salem bank has been robbed by a man who appears to be the same suspect involved in a similar bank robbery that occurred at a bank on Jonestown Road on Tuesday, according to police.

The suspect entered the bank while no customers were inside and produced a note requesting money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then left on foot.

The suspect has been described as a black male, clean shaven, around 40 years old, approximately six feet tall and 210-230 pounds. At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, a baseball cap and white tennis shoes.

Winston-Salem police responded to the Suntrust Bank at 2801 Reynolda Road on Wednesday after the robbery was reported.

No injuries were reported.
