Robbery reported in Greensboro Monday

GREENSBORO, N.C. — On Monday at approximately 8:13 pm, officers responded to the area of South Tate Street and Carr Street in reference to a robbery from an individual.

Upon arrival, Officers met with the victim who advised that three subjects hiding behind a vehicle assaulted him by throwing him to the ground and were able to obtain his personal property. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.

The suspects were described as three males wearing hooded sweatshirts.

There were no injuries in this incident.

Central Division Patrol units and K-9 responded and circulated the area but were unable to locate the subject. UNCG police assisted with the initial investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.

    I think its ashame that people has to rob people or scam people out of their money. why don’t they do like other people GET A JOB. I hope they catch whoever done this to this person. just like i hope they get the ones that scam me Friday and I’m disabled.

    You can’t walk down the street or go to a convenience store in Greensboro with the fear of getting shot or attacked.
