Silver Alert issued for missing Stoneville man

STONEVILLE, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been issued for a Rockingham County man believed to be suffering from dementia or another cognitive impairment.

Authorities said Sunday that 20-year-old Actavis Levon Nichols was last seen at a home at 2660 Smith Road in Stoneville.

Nichols was described as a black male, standing 5’4” and weighing 120 pounds with black medium length hair and brown eyes. Authorities said he had a nickname of “Mookie.” His photo was not provided.

Anyone with any information on Nichols’ whereabouts can call Corporal F. Martin at the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office at (336) 589-5698.
