Panthers top Falcons 34-10, improve to 5-3

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Panthers topped the Falcons in a 34-10 victory for the team’s fourth straight win on Sunday.

The Charlotte Observer reported that Carolina intercepted Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan three times, returning one for a touchdown, to roll to victory.

The Carolina Panthers are now 5-3, winning their fourth game in a row and their fifth in six games.

Newton threw for 249 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown pass to tight end Greg Olsen and also ran for an 8-yard touchdown.
