GREENSBORO, N.C. — Authorities said one person is dead after a house fire was reported Sunday morning in Greensboro.

Greensboro officials said the body of the victim was found inside a home at 3900 Repon Street after authorities responded around 11:30 a.m.

Investigators said the body is believed to be 69-year-old resident Nancy Elise Hensley, however authorities are still working to positively identify the victim.

The cause of the fire was not released. The investigation is ongoing.
