ALBEMARLE, N.C. -- Authorities said they’re searching for a suspect accused of shooting and killing an 81-year-old man at his coin shop Thursday in Albemarle.

WSOC-TV reported that Eldridge Gibson died in the hospital several hours after a robber shot him at B&G Coin Shop.

Authorities say they've located the victim’s pickup truck Saturday in the woods at City Lake Park, not far from his coin shop. Police said they’re still trying to identify the shooter.

Surveillance video shows that the suspect was inside the store for about 20 minutes and left with two bags. Police said he drove off in Gibson's Ford F-150 truck.

Police said surveillance video shows the killer walking into the store. He was only inside for 20 minutes before walking out carrying two bags and taking off with the truck, police said.
