GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police said they’re investigating after two people were shot and injured in an overnight shooing in Greensboro.

Police said they responded to a hospital shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday, where a 59-year-old man said he was shot.

The victim then realized he had been shot and was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Around 8 a.m., police said they responded to a hospital and spoke to a different man suffering an apparent gunshot wound.

The 41-year-old told police he was near a home on Albany Street Saturday night when two unidentified suspects became involved in an altercation.

One of them fired a shotgun and the victim received minor injuries as a result, police said.
