Police search for suspect in Greensboro armed robbery

Kangaroo Express in Greensboro (GOOGLE)

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Wednesday night.

Officers responded to the Kangaroo Express gas station, 2522 Randleman Road, around 9:30 p.m.

The clerk stated that a suspect entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded the clerk give him money.

The clerk gave an undetermined amount of money and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, wearing all dark clothing. His face was covered with a bandana or cloth. He was armed with a handgun of unknown type.

No one was injured.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
