Tavo Restaurant in Greensboro closes

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Tavo Restaurant and Tavern at 212 S. Elm St. in Greensboro has closed, according to the News and Record.

It was reported that there was a notice on the door of the restaurant from the North Carolina Department of Revenue.

It states that the personal property of the restaurant has been seized for non-payment of taxes.

Tavo opened in the Spring of last year in downtown Greensboro.

    Downtown ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. Teenagers ain’t spending no coin at places like this. Plus parking is terrible and thugs roaming the hood don’t help matters. I’m gonna spend my money where it’s safe and I can park my car and not have to walk a half mile to get there.
