Police looking for an armed robbery suspect

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two women say they were sitting in a car when a man approached them with a gun and tried to rob them.

It happened in a parking lot near the intersection of Pisgah Church Road and Scottsdale Road around 6:40 p.m.

The victims told police they were sitting in a car with two minors when a man came up to the passenger side window with a gun and demanded money.

According to a police report, the suspect then hit one of the women in the face, took her cell phone and an unknown amount of money.

The suspect then took the cell phones of the other woman and the two minors, according to police.

An investigation is still ongoing for the suspect, who police say took off on foot west towards Pisgah Church Road.

Police say the victim who was hit in the face had minor injuries and was treated by EMS at the scene.
