Asheboro man charged in stabbing

ASHEBORO, N.C. — An Asheboro man has been charged following a stabbing earlier this week.

Theodore Dwain Green, 46, of 1705 Brookdale Drive, Asheboro, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Police responded to the intersection of South Church Street and Taft Avenue on Sunday where Rodericus Antonio Glover, 44, was stabbed while sitting in his vehicle.

He told officers there had been an altercation between the two which resulted in Glover being stabbed in the abdomen and arm.

Glover was transported to a local treatment facility where he was treated for his injuries.
