Philadelphia preschooler brings crack cocaine to school

PHILADELPHIA -- A 4-year-old in Philadelphia brought eight bags of crack cocaine and nearly $200 to preschool and showed his classmates, according to WPVI.

According to the report, police were called to the school after the preschooler showed classmates the drugs and cash. When a teacher approached the student, he handed her the drugs he brought to school.

Police responded and searched the school. No other suspicious substances were found.

The boy was taken to a local hospital for observation. Authorities wanted to make sure the child had not ingested any of the substance.

Police said the child's parents could face charges.
