Delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint when he went to deliver a pizza at a vacant home in Winston-Salem Monday night.

The delivery man told police that when he arrived at 343 Alspaugh Street, a man was sitting on the steps and another one was standing, talking on a cell phone.

He said the man on the steps removed a weapon from his jacket and demanded the victim’s cell phone, money and pizzas. The second suspect held a pistol at his back.

The suspects then fled on foot. The Winston-Salem Police Department ask if anyone has any information, to call Crime Stoppers 336-727-2800.
