Greensboro woman charged with rear ending school bus

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman accused of rear ending a school bus on Thursday morning has been charged, according to the Greensboro News & Record.

Police said 79-year-old Opal Waller Coleman was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Coleman allegedly hit bus 1070 at 8:23 a.m. near East Cone Boulevard and Summit Avenue.

Officials said there were 40 students aboard the bus, which was headed to Eastern Guilford Middle School.
