Arrests made in Burlington gang graffiti cases

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Burlington teenager, along with three juveniles are facing multiple charges related to gang graffiti, according to authorities.

The Alamance City/County Gang Task Force was asked to assist police after they received multiple complaints about gang graffiti damage to multiple residences and businesses, dating back to November 2012.

Khalid D. Gwynn of Burlington, 16, was charged on September 13 with 18 counts related to the graffiti damage and received a $1,000 secured bond.

A total of 64 charges of damaging property were filed with the juvenile court system concerning the three juveniles involved.

Several investigations into other similar crimes are ongoing.
