MLK open after fatal crash investigation

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Martin Luther King Drive is now open after police investigated an early morning accident that killed one person.

Greensboro Police said that around around 3:00 a.m. Saturday, a 2000 Jeep Wrangler heading westbound on Interstate 40 near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive went off the road, hit a guardrail and flipped over.

The driver of the Jeep was ejected from the vehicle and died.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

At this time, the police have not released the name of the driver.
