RALEIGH, N.C. — Another woman was robbed in Raleigh, and police say this crime seems to fit the pattern of four other robberies in the same area.

WRAL-TV reported that it happened Friday in a north Raleigh neighborhood around 9 p.m. in the 4900 block of Wynneford Way.

According to investigators, the woman was outside her home when a man with a gun forced her back inside, pushed to the ground and kicked her.

Investigators believe he asked the woman for jewelry and money.

Police say she was able to escape, and drove herself to the Han-Dee Hugo’s gas station on 9109 Falls of Neuse Road.

Raleigh Police have not said if this crime is connected to four other robberies that happened in northwest Raleigh neighborhoods since Sunday.

However, they say it does seem to fit the pattern of the recent crimes.
