Greensboro police investigate stabbing

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Friday morning in Greensboro.

Police say they responded around 5 a.m. to 805 Pine Ridge Drive, where they found a man who said he had been stabbed at 223 West Vandalia Road.

The man told police that he and his girlfriend were involved in a dispute before he was stabbed. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for the injury, which was not life-threatening, police said.

Police did not say if charges are expected to be filed in the incident.
