HIGH POINT, N.C. — Jeffrey S. Miller, President of High Point Regional Health, announced on Wednesday his plans to retire, according to the High Point Enterprise.

Miller has served as High Point Regional’s president for 25 years and led the organization through its merger with UNC Health Care. He will remain with the hospital until a successor is found.

“It has truly been an honor to have served our community in this capacity and to have participated in the exciting growth and development of High Point Regional over the years,” Miller said on Wednesday.

“I feel confident knowing that our hospital is well positioned on a path of great success for the future.”

The UNC/High Point Regional merger was first announced last September.
