Two men robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are searching for a pair of suspects who robbed two men at gunpoint early Friday in Greensboro.

The robbery was reported shortly after 2:45 a.m. at 1701 Walker Ave.

The victims, who were both 20-year-old men, told police they were walking in the area when two men got out of a silver vehicle and approached them. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspects took an undetermined amount of money and other belongings from the victims before driving away. The suspect vehicle was last seen headed east on Walker Avenue.

The victims were not hurt.

The first suspect is described as a black male who stood about 6′ tall, weighed 150 pounds and had cornrow-style hair. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.

The second suspect is described as a light-skinned black male with a bald head and facial hair. He was wearing a white shirt with blue jeans and was armed with a handgun.

A further suspect vehicle description was not available.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crimestoppers at 373-1000.
