GREENSBORO, N.C. — Natty Greene’s will expand its sales to South Carolina, Virginia and Washington D.C starting in January.

Previously, the brewery had only focused on North Carolina sales, but due to an increase in demand, the owners have decided to expand.

Co-owner Kayne Fisher says interest in craft beers is off the charts, which is why he will also be changing his marketing approach to go along with the sales expansion, hoping to one day make it a national brand.

“The way we look at is there’s three levels; you’ve got the local level, the regional level, and the national level. One level at a time,” Fisher said.

Natty Greene’s is having a ninth anniversary party Saturday at its pub at McGee and Elm St.
