GREENSBORO, N.C. — The city hosted its first teen forum Monday for teens to discuss programs they would like to see throughout the city.

The forum is one in a series with a focus on how the city can best serve area teens. Monday’s meeting was sponsored bythe National Conference for Community and Justice.

“I don’t speak for all teenagers. I think through a partnership with the schools and advertising in the school system, that’s where we are mostly highly concentrated that would be the best place to get ideas out,” Greensboro teen Malcolm said.

Four more meetings will be held later this month to discuss programs and events for teens.

The next meeting will be held September 19.
