Greensboro man turns misfortunes into works of art

With the rough economy many Americans have been dealing with over the last five years, we've heard a lot of stories about the damage that has been done to people's' careers and lives.

We've heard less about how some overcome those problems.

Don Ames thought leaving Detroit for the Triad was his salvation until he ended up on the streets.

"All hopes of getting a job, anywhere, being homeless, is virtually impossible," Ames said.

But when he found Greensboro Interactive Resource Center, everything changed.
