Two Triad emergency rooms among the busiest in the nation

Two of the nation’s busiest emergency rooms are in Greensboro and Winston-Salem, according to Becker’s Hospital Review.

Moses Cone came in at number 18. According to the report, more than 103,000 visited their emergency room last year.

The number includes totals from Annie Penn, Moses Cone Behavioral Health Center, Wesley Long and the Woman’s Hospital of Greensboro.

Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem also made the list with more than 93,000 visits to the emergency room last year, ranking number 27.

The busiest emergency room is Florida Hospital in Orlando, with more than 206,000 visits.
