Three arrested in robbery of pizza delivery driver

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Three men accused of robbing a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint Wednesday night in Winston-Salem have been arrested.

Demarcus Lee Williams, Kaylan Martinez Boger and Gregory Jaylen Marshall have been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

Police said a Papa John’s delivery driver was robbed around 6:45 p.m. while delivering pizza at a condominium complex at 1980 Crest Hollow Drive.

Police said one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded the victim’s food. Officials said the suspects ran off with the food after a brief struggle with the victim.

Police said the victim suffered a small puncture wound to his side and was treated at the scene by emergency workers.
