ASHEBORO, N.C. — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for information in a deadly hit-and-run that occurred nearly three years ago.

Deputies say Michael Robert Pellegrino was riding his bicycle on U.S. Highway 421 on Sunday, Sept. 26 in 2010 when he was fatally struck by a vehicle.

State troopers recovered parts at the scene that belong to a mid-90s Ford truck, but deputies say neither the sheriff’s office or the N.C. Highway Patrol have been able to identify a suspect.

Anyone with information about the case is urged to call Crimestoppers at (336) 672-7463.
