Gaming system stolen in Burlington assault, robbery

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police say a victim was assaulted and robbed of a gaming system Wednesday evening in Burlington.

The victim told police he was walking on Sharpe Road near Ross Street between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. when two men approached him, pushed him to the ground and threatened to shoot him.

Police say the men stole a gaming system and an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before they ran away. They were last seen headed toward Ross Street.

The victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention, police said.

Ample suspect descriptions were not provided.
