BURLINGTON, N.C. — Allied Churches will host a meeting on Wednesday to determine how to help those who depended on Loaves and Fishes, which closed last week, for food.

The meeting will take place at the Allied Churches’ headquarters at 206 North Fisher St. in Burlking.

At the meeting, people will also be able to find out how they can help those less fortunate.

Allied Churches will also open a food bank starting Monday, offering two hot meals a day.
