CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Authorities said they’re looking for a woman accused of running over a Charlotte police officer’s foot and driving off.

WCNC-TV reported that it happened Saturday morning to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg officer responding to a domestic violence call on Oakdale Road.

Police said the officer ordered the woman out of a car, but she drove off, running over his foot.

Officials said the initial call involved a woman who said her daughters were fighting. Police did not say how or if the suspect was involved in the situation.

The officer was reportedly treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital. A description of the suspect was not released.
