CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte police said they’re looking for a man accused of walking into a family restaurant and pointing a gun at an 11-year-old girl.

WSOC-TV reported that it happened Thursday night when a masked gunman in all black walked into the Chicken King restaurant near Plaza-Midwood.

The young victim, Miriam Medina, was reportedly helping her parents at the restaurant, where her father is the manager.

The gunman allegedly pointed a handgun at her and said, “Give me the cash.”

The girl reportedly called for her father, but by the time he ran from the back of the business to the front, the gunman was gone. Police said he left empty-handed after the girl screamed.

Police said they’re investigating but no one has been arrested. The man was only described as having a slim build and wearing all black including a mask.
