Pair of armed robberies reported overnight in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are looking for information in a pair of armed robberies that happened late Wednesday night in Greensboro.

The first was reported just after 11 p.m. at 509 Houston St. The three victims — two men and a woman — told police they were standing in front of the address when two men approached them. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded property.

The suspects left in a red vehicle after taking undisclosed property from the victims. The vehicle was last seen headed west on Houston Street. The victims were not hurt.

The second robbery was reported shortly after 11:45 p.m. at 218 Berryman St. The victim, a 25-year-old man, told police he was standing in front of the address when a man in a black hooded sweatshirt approached him, displayed a handgun and demanded property.

After taking undisclosed belongings from the victim, the suspect left in a black vehicle driven by a woman. The vehicle was last seen headed south toward Calvert Street. The victim was not hurt.

No ample suspect or vehicle descriptions were provided in either incident.
