Body found at Cumberland recycling plant
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities said a body was found Thursday morning at a recycling plant in Fayetteville, according to WTVD-TV.
Deputies said an employee at Pratt Industries found the woman’s body lying in a pile of cardboard boxes.
Cumberland County deputies said they were called to the facility at 3780 Owen Drive around 8:30 a.m.
Detectives said the remains will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Raleigh for identification. The investigation is ongoing.
