A wedding photographer had to apologize to the bride and groom after his quadcopter crashed into the groom’s head during a photoshoot.

The unnamed photographer said he was attempting to use a DJI Phantom quadcopter equipped with a GoPro camera to get the perfect shot.

“This was two days before the wedding at their bridal shoot…I had done one successful fly by and I brought it around for another pass to make sure it was smooth,” he wrote in the YouTube video description.

He said he underestimated the needed lift time and the quadcopter struck the groom in the side of the face.

“He had a cut on his cheek and and the side of his head. I felt horrible. Luckily the bride and groom were able to laugh about it after and we continued the shoot. At the request of the bride and groom I put the video online,” he wrote.
