Lexington man arrested after prescription pills seized

LEXINGTON, N.C. — Deputies say a Lexington man was arrested this week after they seized more than 100 prescription pills.

According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, 67-year-old Roger Dale Holloman was arrested Wednesday after deputies seized 64 Opana (20 mg) pills, 38 oxycodone (30 mg) pills, 29 oxycodone (15 mg) pills and a tenth of a gram of crack cocaine.

Holloman is charged with trafficking opium/heroin by possession, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspect was jailed under a $100,000 secured bond. He has a court date set for Sept. 24.
