The suspects then drove away toward Summit Avenue.
The second incident was reported shortly after 4 a.m. at 100 Sunset Circle. Police say the victim had just parked his vehicle at the address when the suspects pulled in behind him in a silver car. Both suspects got out of the car, after which one of them approached the victim, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The armed suspect then struck the victim in the face with his hand. The suspects left soon afterward without obtaining any property. They were last seen headed north on Elm Street.
Ample suspect descriptions were not available.
The suspect vehicle was described in both cases only as a silver car. The car may have had Florida tags, police said.
Police say the victim in the second incident suffered a “very minor” injury as a result of being struck.
