Woman accused of assaulting man with knife in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police say a woman was arrested Sunday night after she assaulted a man with a knife.

According to police, officers responded shortly after 8:15 p.m. to a report of a stabbing at an apartment at 741 Creek Ridge Road.

The victim told police he was involved in a dispute with the suspect, 31-year-old Brittany Tyson, when she assaulted him with a knife. The victim suffered a minor injury to one of his arms as a result, police said.

Tyson was arrested at the scene, police said. She is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and domestic assault.
