20th annual Happy Hill Community reunion this weekend

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem’s oldest African-American community is celebrating its roots at its 20th annual reunion this weekend.

The festivities kick-off Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Sims Recreation Center in the Happy Hills Community.

The events continue Saturday at Happy Hill Park from 11:30 a.m. — 5:30 p.m.

There will be food and games available for the entire family to enjoy.
The theme of this year’s event is “The Importance of a Mother’s Love in a Community.”
