Greensboro man stabbed, suspect arrested
GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro man was stabbed early Wednesday, police said in a news release.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Lindsay Street around 5 a.m. in reference to an assault.
Upon arrival, officers found Herman Eugene Parson, 43, suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. He was taken to Moses Cone Hospital and is currently being treated.
The suspect, Amado Melendez, 44, was located a short distance away. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault before being placed in the Guilford County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
