Police: Man robbed of car in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police said they’re looking for two men accused of stealing a man’s car at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

The victim said it happened while he was walking to his black 2001 Honda Civic around 1:49 a.m. in the area of East Lewis Street and Southside Square.

The victim told police the suspects, both armed with handguns, demanded his car.

Police said the men took his car, along with other personal property, and then headed south toward Murray Street. No injuries were reported.

Both suspects are described as black males, in their 20s and both with curly short hair.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with any information can call Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000.
