Bob Gusek recently took part in a national project to fly an RC (radio controlled) model airplane all over the United States.

He was the 395th pilot to take part in “Wings Across America, ” and flew the plane this past weekend at the Central Carolina RC Modelers field in Randolph County.

The plane has been handed off from pilot to pilot since 2008, and will soon return to the man who started the project in Virginia. It’s now flown over the 48 lower states.
