WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Salvation Army is teaming up with Ford dealerships across the Piedmont for its 30 Cars in 30 Days campaign.

The goal of the campaign is to collect 30 donated vehicles during the month of July.  Salvation Army officials say the summer months bring "a predictable slowdown" in charitable contributions.  Proceeds from the donated vehicles will fund other programs and services The Salvation Army offers.
