Two men sought in connection with Winston-Salem shooting

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with a shooting early Sunday in Winston-Salem.

Officers responded to the intersection of East 23rd St. and Cleveland Ave. around 12:20 a.m. and found a 46-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower body.

EMS responded and transported the victim to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where doctors treated his non-life threatening wounds.

Police are investigating the incident. Officers are searching for two men who fled the scene after the attack.
