New SciQuarium opens tomorrow at Greensboro Science Center

The SciQuarium is almost open and ready for visitors!

Friday morning, board members of the Greensboro Science Center cut the ribbon on the sparkling new SciQuarium.

The 22,000 sq. ft. facility includes fishing cats, Asian otters, African penguins, an Amazon exhibit and a 90,000 gallon reef tank filled with sharks, eels, rays and hundreds of fish.

The SciQuarium grand opening will take place Saturday and is open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00.p.m.

Tickets for the SciQuarium is included with the purchase of a ticket to the Greensboro Science Center.
