Police: Woman arrested after stabbing in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman was charged after police said she stabbed a man at a home in Greensboro on Friday night.

Melodye Miller Long, 51, of Greensboro, is accused of stabbing the victim around 10 p.m. at a unit at 310 West Meadowview Road.

Police said the stabbing occurred when the two became engaged in a domestic dispute.

Greensboro police said the victim was taken to the hospital by an ambulance for a minor non-life-threatening injury to his hand area.

Police said the suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and domestic assault.
