Showers and storms move across area

Isolated strong thunderstorms will work across the area from northwest to southeast this afternoon through early evening, with some strong storms capable of producing small hail and wind gusts up to 45 mph.

No weather warnings or watches have been issued.

There is a 30 percent chance of scattered showers through the overnight hours. Temperatures will remain very balmy, settling around the upper 60s by daybreak.

Expect a very steady pattern to hang around for the work week, with highs in the low- to mid-80s and a chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms each day.
