Tanglewood Park wants to make it easier for visitors to get to their favorite campsite this summer–by opening their back gates.

The move is in response to the preservation work on the bridges that carry I-40 over the Yadkin River. The road work will be going on for the next six weekends, starting Friday at 8 p.m.

The back entrance will make it easier for visitors to get into the park.

The front entrance off Clemmons Road will remain open.
