Police: Woman robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro said they are looking for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint as she was walking to her home early Wednesday morning.

The woman said she was headed to her residence in the 1400 block of Woodside Drive around 4:30 a.m. when a car approached her.

She said a man got out with a gun and demanded property. Police said he robbed her and then continued driving west of Woodside Drive.

The suspect is described as a black male with light skin, around 6” with a slender built and wearing a hat with an “A” on it.

Police said he drove a dark burgundy Lexus and was armed with a silver handgun.

No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information can call Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000.
