Four children injured in High Point hit and run, driver sought

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Four children were transported to High Point Regional after they were struck by a vehicle on Cedrow Road on Friday.

Two 15-year-olds, an 11-year-old and an 8-year-old were walking on Cedrow Drive around 4:15 p.m.

The children were walking with their backs to traffic, according to the police report.

A 2002-2004 Lincoln LS traveling north struck two of the children. Police believe the other two children were injured when their bodies collided with the two children struck by the vehicle.

The vehicle did not slow down or stop, according to the report.

All four children were taken to High Point Regional by ambulance.
